Support for people living with dementia and alzheimers disease

The Joint Dementia Initiative (JDI) offers person centered support in your own home and local community, with emotional, physical and practical support. The service aims to help you manage everyday tasks, maintain your relationships and friendships, and develop new ones. JDI also supports your carers and loved ones. An assessment from Social Work Services is needed for you to access JDI. Call Social Work on 01324 506070 to make a referral.

Alzheimers Scotland Forth Valley Branch is based in Stenhousemuir. The service aims to support people with dementia, their families, relatives and friends at any stage of the illness by offering information and advice, day care, community activities for people with dementia and carers and peer support groups. Some services need an assessment from Social Work.

For more information contact Alzheimers Forth Valley via their website - www.alzscot.org/living-with-dementia/getting-support/find-support-near-you/forth-valley-office or call on 01324 559480.
