Carers: Carer's Allowance financial support for those who care for others
Carer's Allowance is a benefit paid to people who regularly spend at least 35 hours per week caring for someone who is disabled. You do not have to live at the same address or be related to the disabled person to qualify. If you’d like to apply for Carer’s Allowance, you can apply online by visiting www.falkirk.gov.uk/services/benefits-support/carers-allowance.aspx or have a form posted to you by calling 0800 731 0297.
