Most people forget things from time to time, but you should see a GP if you keep having problems with your memory and this is affecting your day-to-day life, or it's worrying you, or someone you know. If you have been diagnosed with a medical condition that affects your memory, such as Alzheimer's disease or dementia, there are other local services, groups and organisations that can offer support and advice.
