Libraries: Large print books

All libraries in the Falkirk area have collections of Large Print books available to loan free of charge. The Home Library Service is especially for people who find it difficult to get out and about because of disability, illness, shielding or because they're caring for someone. It's also perfect for people who struggle to carry heavy library books. You can even use the service on a temporary basis eg if you've had an operation or accident. You don't need to be a current library member; the library will take care of that for you and the service is completely free of charge. A trained member of staff will deliver your items every three weeks. Get in touch by email at libraries@falkirk.gov.uk or complete the form available at: www.falkirkleisureandculture.org/learning/libraries/home-library-service. A Librarian will call to arrange a short visit, where they'll find out a bit more about you and your reading preferences. This will help the library to select items that match your tastes.
