Mobility: Shopmobility scheme
Shopmobility is a scheme which lends manual wheelchairs, powered wheelchairs and powered scooters to members of the public with limited mobility to shop and to visit leisure and commercial facilities within a town, city or shopping centre. All schemes operate slightly differently; some provide Shopmobility as a free service while others have a charge. Most schemes welcome any donations you wish to make. Each scheme varies so it is important to contact the scheme you wish to visit, prior to using the service. A member of staff or volunteer will give you all the information you need.
