Toenail clipping: help and advice if you can no longer cut your own toenails
We recommend that you consider movement that can increase your balance and flexibility and may allow you to cut your own toenails. Please visit Living Well Falkirk and start the LifeCurveā¢ to find movement tailored to you. Forth Valley Top Toes offers a toenail clipping service to adults who can no longer cut their own nails.
Forth Valley Top Toes provides a personal toenail clipping service to anyone who has no underlying medical conditions which require NHS treatment but is unable to cut their own toenails. Appointments are available at various locations throughout the Forth Valley. Clients can receive regular toenail clipping by an NHS Trained Personal Footcare Volunteer. All Personal Footcare Volunteers have been trained by NHS Forth Valley Podiatry team and have learned the skills to carry out basic foot assessments, nail clipping, filing and give foot care advice. There is a charge for each appointment.
