Finanical support: Welfare and Benefits Advice

Falkirk Council has a Welfare Benefits advice service that can help you find out about benefits you may be entitled to and with claiming these. The service is free, confidential, impartial and independent. Most questions you may have can be answered over the telephone, but it is also possible to arrange a meeting.

You can get help to: decide on which benefits you can claim, claim the right benefits so you are getting all the money you can, sort out any problems with your claim, and appeal against a decision that you think is wrong.
