Forth Valley Sensory Centre is a local independent charity for people with Sensory Loss. The centre has a computer suite equipped with software specifically for visually impaired people and classes are available. There is also a resource area where people with visual impairment can access information on line, with help from our team if you need it.

Forth Valley Sensory Centre is a local independent charity for people with Sensory Loss. The centre has a computer suite equipped with software specifically for visually impaired people and classes are available. Sight Scotland Veterans (previously Scottish War Blinded), based at the Centre, provide free IT equipment, training and advice for their members following assessment.

Support and advice for people with low vision or visual impairment
The Sensory Services Team can help if you, a friend or family member need help coping with being blind, or having a visual impairment. The team is part of Social Work Adult Services.

Support for veterans with a visual impairment
Sight Scotland Veterans (previously Scottish War Blinded) provide support that empowers veterans in Scotland who are affected by sight loss. Talking book service
The RNIB Talking Book Service has been one of their most loved services for eight decades. You can borrow up to six books at a time, with no limit on how many you borrow in a year. Books are delivered to your door free of charge. Just return them once you've enjoyed them. Returns are also free.
